19 SEPTEMBER- teamwork

Teamwork- MEDEA GREEK THEATRE

At first, we warmed up, we did some exercises for projection, then we started going through the whole room to develop our awareness.

In this day lesson, we had to work in a group a paragraph of MEDEA, we were 2 groups of 6-7 people and in our group, each of us had a sentence, we learned it an then we prepared the scene. We repeated it to be perfect and when we finished we did it in front of the class.
The other group did the same thing but they had a different paragraph (the first half) and we had the 2nd one, their scene was completely different from ours.

When Sharon told us to combine the two scenes and groups into only one I thought it's impossible. We also had to do it without repetition. We talked to each other and the conclusion was that the best option is that 2nd team (us) froze in the back while team 1 is unfolding and when they finish they freeze and we run in front of them and start our scene. We made it, it was so easy, two different teams with different scenes into only one.
In the end, all of us had to say one thing that we learned during this lesson, I said TEAMWORK.
I think teamwork is one of the most important things in a group, in being an actress and a human. We need to work together if we want to get results.
I also learned how important is imagination. Us, a team of 7 people had managed to make a scene from a script, using it.
